How Blogging became Lucrative for me / Pay Per Click

About a year ago I was blogging away and pondering over how I could make this hobby of mine a viable and lucrative way to earn some money when a friend put me on to Adsense.

Adsense is a service available on blogger that allows you to earn money via a system called Pay Per Click.  All you need to get started is a computer, internet access, blogger, and Adsense.

There is NO initial investment, you do NOT need to sell anything and this will require minimal effort on your part.

This blog will give you step-by-step instructions on how to start earning via this pay per click program.

Introduction to Adsense

Before I go any further I'd just like to put you at ease by saying this is NOT a scam.  I'm just a girl that found something good and thought it would be nice to share my knowledge with others like myself.  I am in no way affiliated with google, blogger or Adsense other than the fact that I use their services and find them very useful.

Adsense is the tool that I recommend that you use to get started with the Pay per click / Pay per Action program.

To begin all you need to do is:

1. Click the 'customize' link at the top right hand side of your blogger blogs homepage. 

2. Go to 'Blog posts' and click 'edit'

3. There will be two links, one that says you need to be signed up for adsense in order to put ads in between your posts.  Click that one and sign up with adsense.

4. Once that step is complete go back and check the box that says 'Show ads between posts'

5. Then go on to customize your ads to your taste.

That is a beginners guide to getting started with Adsense's pay per view program and  now I'll go on to show you how this work and how you can get paid.

How Adsense works

Millions of individuals and businesses advertise via google everyday.  You see their ads on the side of your screen when you do a search.  Google offers you a share in their profits in exchange for you showing their ads on your blog.

Each time someone clicks on one of the ads on your blog you will be paid for it. If someone does a search via your blog and clicks on one of those ads you will be paid for those too, and if you refer people to a site you will be paid for that too!  Adsense basically allows you to get paid simply for blogging and getting people to read your blog.  You may NOT however tell people to click on your ads as that is cheating.  They have to do that on their own.

Now to find out how you get paid!

Getting Paid

After you've earned your first $10 you will able to verify your account.  This will entail Adsense sending you a pin to verify your account.  This pin will be sent in the post and that pin must then be entered into your adsense account.

Once you have entered the pin into the Adsense system and sorted out all holds on the account you will be eligible to start recieving payment.

Adsense will send you a check after you have earned $100 or more. You will recieve a cheque every month that your earnings reach $100.

And what's more you don't need to do anything you don't already do which is blog.
